Goa Dairy seeks urgent govt intervention to keep itself afloat

Digital Goa, Dec 9 – Goa Dairy has urged the government to support Goa’s oldest Dairy at the earliest in order to save it from closing down. A delegation of Goa Dairy met CM Pramod Sawant and requested him to help the Dairy financially as the financial condition of the dairy is precarious. The Goa Dairy has incurred the loss of Rs 72 lakhs on milk plant during this financial year. According to the Goa Dairy officials, if urgent steps are not taken Dairy won’t have money to pay the salaries of staff after five months.
