Girish says he has been slapped with legal notice by alleged sex scandal victim

Digital Goa, Dec 9 – GPCC President Girish Chodankar said that he has been issued a legal notice allegedly by the victim of a sexual exploitation case to refrain from going public with audio visual evidence in the alleged sex scandal. The notice has been issued days after Chodankar claimed that a cabinet minister in the Pramod Sawant led govt had been involved in sexually exploiting a woman. Girish had while exposing the scandal had said that an aquittance had shown him video and audio clips regarding the matter. While speaking to media in the capital today, Chodankar said that he has been slapped with a legal notice by Mumbai based law firm. Alleging that the erring minister is behind the notice Girish said he does not know the victim but the notice claims that the Bihar native victim is poor. “The notice calls her Mrs. X. If the victim is poor, then how is she able to hire a Mumbai-based law firm,” questioned Girish. Chodankar said he is neither going to reply to the notice nor get intimidated with it. Chodankar had earlier warned that if the govt does not take action against the Minister in question, he would release the evidence in the public domain ahead of PM Modi’s scheduled visit to Goa on December 19.
