Digital Goa, Dec 7 – Ravi Naik, who resigned as MLA this morning, has formally joined BJP in a function at Ponda this evening. Large number of his followers also joined BJP on this occasion in the presence of CM Pramod Sawant and BJP State incharge Devendra Fadavnis. Ravi lauded Bharatiya Janata Party for being disciplined and the only party with grass root level organisation. He assured the non Goans settled in Goa that he will be with them and that they need not worry. Welcoming Ravi Naik in the party fold, chief minister Pramod Sawant said that his opponents are scared of Ravi Naik joining BJP because Ravi Naik has fought for the rights of Bahujan Samaj .
