Digital Goa, Dec 7 – Renowned Goan writer Damodar Mauzo has won the Jnanpith Award for the year 2021. Jnanpith Award is regarded as the highest Indian literary award. Mauzo is a renowned Goan short story writer, novelist, critic and scriptwriter. Mauzo has received the award jointly with noted Assamese poet and litterateur Nilmani Phookan.
