Digital Goa, Dec 9 – With educational institutes of national repute coming to the hinterland Taluka of Dharbandora, the Taluka will soon be known as Vidyanagari (The City of knowledge), said CM Pramod Sawant today. He said of the over 14 lakh sq mtr of the revenue land owned by the govt at Dharbandora, 2 lakh sqr mtr will be allotted to National School of Law and International Arbitration Center . “Foundation stone for this will be laid soon,” he added. He was speaking while laying the Foundation Stone for Gopal Gaonkar Memorial Goa Multi faculty College at Dharbandora. In addition Govt has also announced that the National Forensic Science University will be set up in 2 lakh sq mtr area at Dharbandora. CM clarified that the land under Sanjivani Sugar factory will not be allotted to these institutes. National Forensic Science University will be completed within next 5 years, he added. Presently, the institute is operating from the premises of State Veterinary Dept Guest house.
