Digital Goa, Dec 9 – Congress has now invited Goa Forward President Vijay Sardesai to meet GPCC President Girish Chodankar in Congress office to discuss alliance issue. Earlier, Vijay Sardesai had flown down to Delhi to meet Rahul Gandhi. It was decided to work together to defeat BJP during the meeting. However, absence of Girish Chodankar during this meet had fuelled speculations about the reservations of the local leadership to this alliance. Today, Congress leader and state election in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao tweeted saying that Goa Forward President has been invited for a meeting with GPCC President Girish Chodankar on Nov 11 at Congress Election Office in Panaji. Goa Forward party also held a political affairs committee meeting to discuss the invitation by Congress.
