3 Madhya Pradesh natives nabbed by Cybercrime Cell for duping Porvorim businessmen to the tune of Rs 6.7 lakh

Digital Goa, Dec 18 – Cybercrime cell of Goa police arrested 3 persons from Indore, Madhya Pradesh for fleecing a businessman from Porvorim to the tune of Rs 6.77 lakh by promising high returns in stock market. The accused identified as Chandan s/o Surendrashigh Chandel, Age 32yrs , Kuldeep s/o Surendrashigh Chandel, Age and Vinod Kmar s/o Shivpal Verma, Age 30yrs all residents of Madhya Pradesh were arrested by Cybercrime cell police. Bank ATM Cards, Bank Pass Book, SIM cards and Mobile phones and other documents were recovered from the accused. The arrested were made following complaint by Porvorim Businessman of Financial Fraud on Dec 13. The Businessman was cheated the complainant by personation to the tune of Rs. 6,77,650 by using computer resource i.e. emails and bank accounts, on the pretext of investing in shares of stock market and promised of high returns and further made the complainant to transfer money towards GST charges and etc. The entire amount was transferred by the complainant into accused different bank accounts informed police.
