State recorded 40 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, taking the tally of active cases of the dreaded virus to 275.
No new deaths linked to the dreaded virus have been reported
The positivity rate of the total 2,743 samples tested in the last 24 hours is 1.45 per cent.
The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently has reached 1,78,839 of which 1,75,183 patients have defeated the deadly disease. Till date 3,381 patients have succumbed to the disease.
According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of urban health centres are as follows: Margao 21 cases, Vasco 5 cases, Panaji 13 cases and Mapusa 11 cases.
While the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali 7 cases, Bicholim 6 cases, Pernem 2 cases, Valpoi 5 cases, Curchorem 12 cases and Canacona 6 cases.
And, the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres are as follows: Aldona 12 cases, Betki 2 cases, Candolim 15 cases, Colvale 2 cases, Corlim 7 cases, Chimbel 17 cases, Siolim 15 cases, Porvorim 16 cases, Mayem 3 cases, Balli 10 cases, Cansaulim 16 cases, Chinchinim 2 cases, Cortalim 6 cases, Curtorim 8 cases, Loutolim 2 cases, Quepem 13 cases, Sanguem 6 cases, Shiroda 2 cases, Dharbandora 18 cases, Ponda 5 cases and Navelim 9 cases.
