Village women at forefront of preserving culture: Patnekar

Speaker Rajesh Patnekar has said that village women have done a great work of preserving tradition and culture of India and Goa even in modern times through various mediums. 

Patnekar was speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of the Cultural Festival in Bicholim constituency under ‘CM Cup 22/22’.

BJP women leader Shilpa Naik, BMC chairperson Kundan Falari, Dr Shekhar Salkar, Vishwas Gaonkar, youth president Aniket Chanekar and others were present on the occasion.

At this time, Dr Shekhar Salkar said that if the youth force is meaningful for constructive work, it is a good use.

Kundan Falari said that Chief Minister Sawant is efficient and is trying to find the right path for the youth.

Vishwas Gaonkar informed about the programme and clarified that various competitions will be held for 15 days.

Dance, singing, fugdi and many other competitions were organised.
