“The purpose of the trip was primarily to discuss Mr Gandhi’s visit to Goa. We also discussed the strategies for the forthcoming elections wherein we put across our views. We had diverse views on certain issues. On certain issues, we spoke in one voice and he (Rahul Gandhi) decided that he will communicate our views to the AICC president Smt Sonia Gandhi ji and get back to us in the next couple of days,” he said.
