I’m a proud Hindu, don’t need certificate from BJP, says Mamata near Panaji

Digital Goa, Oct 29 – In her first public function in Goa after arriving in the state on three day visit, TMC supremo and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee hit out at Bharatiya Janata Party. “BJP is nobody to give me a character certificate on my religion. I’m a proud Hindu”, she said speaking at a function in Panaji. I will rather die but I will not divide the people, she said. “Dilli ka Dadagiri nahin chalegi. We want the federal structure to be strong”, she added. She further assured Goans that TMC will give full protection to safeguard their culture and heritage. “We want you to live with your head held high, live with pride”, she added. Meanwhile, noted activist Nafisa Ali and Mrinalini Deshprabhu officially join AITC in Goa.
