Panaji: The state recorded 50 fresh COVID-19 cases on Monday with a positivity rate of 1.36 per cent, taking the active COVID cases to 862.
Fortunately no new death linked to the virus was recorded in the last 24 hours. Till date, the pandemic has claimed 3,303 lives in Goa.
The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 1,76,145 while 1,71,980 patients have defeated the deadly disease.
According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of urban health centres stand as follows: Margao – 135 cases, Vasco – 24 cases, Panaji – 55 cases and Mapusa – 29 cases.
While the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 20 cases, Bicholim – 16 cases, Pernem – 26 cases, Valpoi – 10 cases, Curchorem – 8 cases and Canacona – 30 cases.
And, the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 26 cases, Betki – 21 cases, Candolim – 52 cases, Cansarvanem – 1 cases, Colvale – 19 cases, Corlim – 17 cases, Chimbel – 24 cases, Siolim – 39 cases, Porvorim – 40 cases, Mayem – 4 cases, Balli – 25 cases, Cansaulim – 30 cases, Chinchinim – 26 cases, Cortalim – 40 cases, Curtorim – 28 cases, Loutolim – 15 cases, Marcaim – 6 cases, Quepem – 19 cases, Sanguem – 6 cases, Shiroda- 11 cases, Dharbandora – 3 cases, Ponda – 39 cases and Navelim – 18 cases.
