Police constable & lady police suspended after video of the constable beating his wife on busy Guirim road goes viral

Digital Goa, Aug 27 –A Police constable and his colleague lady police were suspended after the video of the constable brutally assaulting his wife on busy Guirim road went viral. The wife was attacked by the husband who was only clad in short pants, in full public view after she confronted him for being in compromising position with the lady police inside his roadside parked car. Mapusa police filed non cognizable offence against the constable and submitted the report to the seniors. Following this the suspension order was issued.
