Panaji: Three more succumbed to COVID-19 infection in the last 24-hours and 105 new COVID positive cases reported on Tuesday in Goa.
With three more fatalities, the death toll of the state linked to the dreaded virus mounted to 3,201. The total death count related to COVID-19 in the month of August recorded 54.
With 105 of the 5,304 samples testing positive for COVID, the COVID positivity rate for Tuesday stands at 1.9 %.
As per the bulletin released by the directorate of health services, 108 more patients recovered on Tuesday. Moreover, seven patients have been discharged from hospitals while 17 persons with COVID infection have been admitted to the hospital.
The total confirmed COVID-19 positive cases stands at 1,73,955 while total 1,69,877 people have defeated the deadly disease in the state. South Goa: Community Health Centre – Curchorem (18), Canacona (48), Urban Health Centre – Margao (51), Vasco (13), Primary Health Center – Balli (32), Cansaulim (38), Chinchinim (28), Cortalim (37), Curtorim( 34), Loutolim( 22 ), Marcaim(1), Quepem( 17), Sanguem (23), Shiroda (14), Dharbandora (14), Ponda (21), Navelim (35).
