Girish Chodankar to continue as GPCC President, Alexio Sequeira appointed Working President in latest revamp

Digital Goa, Aug 30 – National Congress President Sonia Gandhi has approved the proposal for the continuance of Girish Chodankar as the President of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee(GPCC). Several committees have also been set up ahead of the Assembly polls in Goa. Former Chief Minister Digambar Kamat will continue as the Congress legislative party (CLP) leader while Alexio Sequeira is the Working state President. Former Chief Minister Luizinho Falerio has been appointed Chairman of the Election coordination committee with M.K. Shaikh as convenor. Campaign committee will be headed by Reginaldo Lourenco and Sangeeta Parab as co-chairperson. Former CM Fracisco Sardinha has been made chairperson of the Finance committee and Pramod Salgaocar as co-chairperson. Manifesto committee is headed by Ramakant Khalap with Elvis-Gomes as co-chairperson. Publicity committee will be headed by Chandrakant Chodankar and Martha Saldanha as Co-Chairperson states a release by General Secretary K C Venugopal.
