COVID-19 claims three more lives

59 new cases recorded with positivity rate of 1.48%

Panaji: The deadly pandemic claimed three more lives in the last 24 hours, taking the COVID-19 death toll to 3,198 in Goa.

The state recorded 59 new COVID-19 cases with the positivity rate of 1.48 per cent on Monday.

The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 1,73,850,  of which 883 are active cases while 1,69,769 patients have defeated the deadly disease.

According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of urban health centres stand as follows: Margao- 55 cases, Vasco – 13 cases, Panaji- 70 cases and Mapusa – 36 cases.

While the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 14 cases, Bicholim – 15 cases, Pernem – 20 cases, Valpoi – 12 cases, Curchorem – 17 cases and Canacona – 32 cases. And, the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 29 cases, Betki – 40 cases, Candolim- 35 cases, Cansarvanem – 5 cases, Colvale – 33 cases, Corlim – 23 cases, Chimbel – 34 cases, Siolim – 38 cases, Porvorim- 48 cases, Balli – 29 cases, Cansaulim – 40 cases, Chinchinim – 25 cases, Cortalim – 35 cases, Curtorim – 36 cases, Loutolim – 24 cases, Marcaim – 2 cases, Quepem – 13 cases, Sanguem – 22 cases, Shiroda- 16 cases, Dharbandora – 15 cases, Ponda – 20 cases and Navelim – 37 cases.
