Goa recorded 138 fresh COVID-19 cases, and seven more deaths linked with the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 3,046.
The positivity rate of the total 2,487 samples tested on Monday is 5.54 per cent as against 6.89 per cent which was recorded on Sunday when 3,120 samples were drawn for testing.
The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 1,66,236 of which 2,316 are active cases while 1,60,874 patients have defeated the deadly disease.
According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of urban health centres stand as follows: Margao- 127 cases, Vasco – 76 cases, Panaji- 102 cases and Mapusa – 90 cases.
While the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 128 cases, Bicholim – 48 cases, Pernem – 71 cases, Valpoi – 41 cases, Curchorem – 64 cases and Canacona – 114 cases. And, the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 35 cases, Betki – 46 cases, Candolim – 115 cases, Cansarvanem – 21 cases, Colvale – 37 cases, Corlim – 60 cases, Chimbel – 99 cases, Siolim – 90 cases, Porvorim- 80 cases, Mayem – 20 cases, Balli – 39 cases, Cansaulim – 62 cases, Chinchinim – 33 cases, Cortalim – 91 cases, Curtorim – 48 cases, Loutolim – 74 cases, Marcaim – 37 cases, Quepem – 80 cases, Sanguem – 79 cases, Shiroda – 65 cases, Dharbandora – 73 cases, Ponda – 151 cases and Navelim – 20 cases.
