Goa records 213 more COVID cases, 2 deaths

The state on Tuesday registered 213 fresh cases of COVID-19 pandemic with a positivity rate of 5.21 per cent.

Two new deaths associated with the disease were also recorded in the last 24 hours.

Till date, 3,048 patients have succumbed to the disease.

The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 1,66,449 of which 2,241 are active cases while 1,61,160 patients have recovered from the
disease.

According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of urban health centres stand as follows: Margao – 141 cases, Vasco – 74 cases, Panaji – 85 cases and Mapusa – 73
cases.

While the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 120 cases, Bicholim – 60 cases, Pernem – 63 cases, Valpoi – 49 cases, Curchorem – 70 cases and Canacona – 96 cases.

And, the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 32 cases, Betki – 45 cases, Candolim- 102 cases, Cansarvanem – 24 cases, Colvale – 46 cases, Corlim – 73 cases, Chimbel – 85 cases, Siolim – 81 cases, Porvorim- 74 cases, Mayem – 21 cases, Balli – 35 cases, Cansaulim – 67 cases, Chinchinim – 39 cases, Cortalim – 86 cases, Curtorim – 48 cases, Loutolim – 60 cases, Marcaim – 28 cases, Quepem – 73 cases, Sanguem – 89 cases, Shiroda- 57 cases, Dharbandora – 73 cases, Ponda – 149 cases and Navelim – 23 cases.
