Digital Goa, June 28 – All those who are fully vaccinated with both doses of the vaccine will be permitted to enter Goa, informed CM Pramod Sawant today. “Those who possess vaccination certificate will be allowed in Goa. They need not carry a separate covid negative certificate,” said Sawant. As per the present SOP, those carrying covid negative certificate from test done 72-hours prior to their visit are allowed in Goa. The state govt has also permitted private labs to be set up at the border for covid-19 testing.
Goa government will be also engaging private labs to test passenger arriving via railways, CM added.
“Covid situation in Goa is coming under control. Positivity rate is declining and is approx. 6 % now. The recovery rate in also increasing. In coming 2-3 days it is likely to go below 5 %,” said Sawant.
