Mapusa: Following the direction of Collector, Bardez mamlatdar has directed all talathis in the taluka to prepare a list of foreigners and beggars without any identity proof in view of the plan to vaccinate the group.
According to the available information, the North Goa Collector has issued an order directing mamlatdars to identify and prepare a list of beggars and foreigners in their jurisdiction, who don’t have identify proof.
Accordingly, Bardez mamlatdar Laxmikant Kuttikar convened a meeting of all talathis and directed them “to prepare list of beggars and foreigners in their jurisdiction with the help of elected representatives and submit report by Monday.” Currently, vaccination drive is going for 18 and above group, however, beggars and foreigners who are residing without any identity proof are left out hence a list is being prepared so that this group can get vaccinated. Kuttikar said, “I have directed all my talathis to prepare list and submit it by Monday.”
