Margao: Colva police said that they have registered an offence against a resident of Vanelim-Colva following a complaint from a woman alleging that she was photographed using a mobile phone while she was in shower.
Colva police said that based on a complaint, an offence has been registered under sections 354 and 506 (ii) of IPC and under Information Technology Act, 2000.
As per the complaint, the alleged accused intentionally captured and photographed the woman on his personal mobile phone while she was having bath, thereby violating her privacy. Police said that investigation into the incident is in progress.
