Digital Goa, May 27 – A 19-year-old from youth from Calangute succumbed to covid at GMC today. Goa continued to record high covid mortality count with in all 39 more succumbing to the dreaded disease in last 24-hours. 11 of the deceased are below 50 years of age. This takes the death toll of the state to 2,538. Of the 39 deaths, 23 were recorded at GMC, 8 at SGDH , 5 deaths at private hospitals in South Goa (SMRC, Aster,Trimurti and Borkar hospital) while 3 patients were brought dead, one each at Hospicio, PHC Quepem and North goa private hospital.
