Digital Goa, Mar 30 – Section 144 restrictions are not applicable for religious functions and traditional Shigmotsav and also for activities held within private properties said CM Sawant today. Section 144 is relaxed for religious functions, traditional Shigmotsav and village level Shigmo festivities,CM told the house today.
“Section 144 is applicable for public roads and other public places. But people can go ahead with their activities in private properties by following Covid related restrictions,” said Sawant while reacting to queries raised by media persons over large gathering at Holi parties hosted by Hotels and clubs in the beach belts of Goa.
