Digital Goa, Mar 30 – Goa government today adjourned the ongoing State Legislative Assembly session till July 19 due to imposition of Model Code of Conduct(MCC) in the state in view of April 23 elections for 5 municipalities. Assembly was adjourned after passing vote on account for five months. The decision to adjourn the assembly was taken in the Business Advisory Committee meeting held today afternoon. Opposition had earlier demanded adjournment of the assembly in view of MCC and government had refused to comply with the demand. The Budget session of the assembly had commenced on March 24 and was scheduled to go on till April 16.
