127 fresh cases of COVID-19 recorded in Goa

The state on Tuesday recorded 127 fresh cases of the COVID-19 and one new death linked to the virus, taking the tally of active COVID-19 cases to 1,419.

Around 136 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.

With these new cases and recoveries, the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 57,839 of which 55,591 patients have defeated the deadly virus. Till date, 829 patients have succumbed to the disease.

According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of other urban health centres stand as follows: Margao- 167, Vasco – 90 cases, Panaji- 157 and Mapusa – 86 cases.

While, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 29 cases, Bicholim – 22 cases, Pernem – 18 cases, Valpoi – 0 cases, Curchorem – 15 cases and Canacona
– 11 cases.

And, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 32 cases, Betki – 18 cases, Candolim – 107 cases, Cansarvanem – 5 cases, Colvale – 20 cases, Corlim – 23 cases, Chimbel – 37 cases, Siolim – 53 cases, Porvorim – 118 cases, Mayem – 2 cases,  Balli – 18 cases, Cansaulim – 61 cases, Chinchinim – 40 cases, Cortalim – 69 cases, Curtorim – 18 cases, Loutolim – 24 cases, Marcaim – 11 cases, Quepem – 11 cases, Sanguem – 2 cases, Shiroda- 3 cases, Dharbandora – 14 cases, Ponda – 107 cases and Navelim – 25 cases.
