Extended rains in Goa have resulted in the late flowering of the mango crop, however, the unseasonal rain which has lashed the state since last week has had a further impact on the crop. The unseasonal rain will not be favourable for the trees that are yet to flower and those that have flowered are at a risk of fungal infection.
