Digital Goa, Feb 25- Goa government today notified the conditions and limitation for application of various Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat Funds by the local self-government bodies. Zilla Panchayats can spend funds upto Rs 10 lakh for purchase of electrical goods while for Panchayats the limit is set between Rs 3 to Rs 6 lakhs based on their income. Funds upto 5 lakh can be spent by Zilla Panchayats for purchase of chemicals, disinfectants, pesticides, germicides, etc. for sanitation, garbage treatment, etc. while the amount is Rs 2 lakh for Panchayats.
