Goa: Soft drink packs worth Rs 8.5 lakh seized

The department of legal metrology seized 16,176 1.25 litre packages worth of Rs 8.5 lakh of a soft drink brand for not bearing the name and complete address of the customer care in violation of the provision of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009, and Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011.
