Digital Goa, Dec 30 – The year 2020 was a challenging year for me and we have been able to sail through said CM Sawant while taking a review of the initiatives taken up by his govt in the year 2020. He discussed various issues related to the state during his last press briefing of the year.
Three hinterland circuits to be developed under Swadesh Darshan Scheme – Bicholim-Sakhali, Sanguem & Canacona .
Final year exams of the university and Std X exams and Std XII exams will be held offline (physically). Academic institutions have been given the flexibility to hold other exams online
Recruitment advertisements for government jobs will be issued from January 2021
Under the new Telecom Policy , as of now 90 applications came been received from Telecom companies for setting up towers. “We have started clearing applications now,” said CM.
Process to regularize CCP as well as Municipality workers will commence this year
Mopa Greenfield Airport will be completed by 2022
Many proposals have been received by the state govt for setting up private universities.
150 Electric buses will ply on roads across Goa very soon
Process of GI tagging of 15-20 items has been initiated.
