Digital Goa, Dec 28 – Goa govt has decided on a plan to give a solution to the water woes of Goans within the next 15 days informed CM Pramod Sawant. “There is 3 MLD water shortage in many constituencies in Goa. Govt has decided on plan to give solution on this in next 15 days,” said CM. He was speaking to media persons after chairing high level meeting of all PWD senior engineers across the state. He came down heavily on the PWD engineers who don’t respond to the needs of the public and warned them that inefficient engineers will be suspended if there is dereliction in duty.
50 percent govt contractors paid Rs 500 crore advance bill under Central Scheme: CM
CM Pramod Sawant informed that “Rs 500 crore advance bill has been paid to 50 percent of the contractors in the state through RXL bill discounting system. Goa is first state to use this system under RXL, which is a Public Sector Undertaking,” he added. He said that Goa Miles and taxi operators issue will be resolved soon.
All Colleges exams and Goa Board exams will be offline: CM
CM Sawant who is also the Education minister said that all the board exams along with exams of College will be held offline. “The Goa board exams of Std 10th and Std 12th will be held offline. The exams of other Colleges will be also held offline”, he added.
