Digital Goa, Dec 30 – Goa government is not going ahead with the proposal of cannabis cultivation for medicinal use asserted CM Pramod Sawant today. The proposal for cannabis cultivation for medicinal use had come to Goa state along with other states across the country through Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine which is under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Government of India, he informed. “The proposal from the center has gone to various departments, but that does not imply that it is finalized. Govt is not taking this proposal ahead,” Sawant added.
