DigitalGoa, Dec 30 – Crime Branch has caught the escaped undertrial Vivek Kumar Gautam this evening at Mandrem. His one accomplice was also arrested from Patradevi while another is still absconding. Vivek, who is lodged is Colvale Jail for decoity in Porvorim, had escaped from police custody with the help of two accomplices from Mapusa District Hospital, where he was taken for treatment. His two bike-borne accomplices had fired gun shots and sprayed pepper powder on police escorts before running away with the accused. Massive manhunt was conducted to nab the accused.
