Digital Goa, Dec 29 – The process to prepare the schedule of Panchayat and Municipal elections has started recently and decision is expected to be taken on Jan 4, 2021 with regard to finalisation of the voters list. In view of this a Writ Petition in this regards has been listed for hearing on Jan 5 in the High Court of Bombay at Goa.
“Put up this Writ Petition on 5th January, 2021, to enable Mr. Arolkar,learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondents to inform the Bench the schedule of elections, for which the process has started recently and decision is expected to be taken on 4th January, 2021 with regard to finalisation of the voters list,” states the court order.
