Canacona farmers want uniform rates for their produce from govt

While farmers across the country are protesting the government’s new agriculture laws, horticulturists and agriculturists from Canacona have also claimed that their issues are being neglected by the state government. Members of Atmanirbhar Shetkar society said they have been knocking on the doors of successive agriculture ministers since 2016 to provide them “appropriate rates” for their locally-produced farm products.
