Digital Goa, Dec 30 – Till date 37 persons who travelled to Goa from UK have tested positive for Covid. 23 of their contacts have also tested positive. Of these 43 samples have been sent to NIV Pune for testing for the new strain of Covid. Reports of 2 of these samples have been received so far from Pune and both are negative for the new strain of the virus informed CM Pramod Sawant today.
900 UK travellers who came to Goa since December 9 as well as their contacts have been tested and total 60 from them have tested positive, CM informed.
