Goa travellers subjected to thermal scanning at Maharashtra border checkposts

Digital Goa, Nov 25 – Travelers from Goa entering Maharashtra via road are being subjected to thermal scanning check at the borders from yesterday. All those entering Maharashtra from Goa are checked with thermal guns at Patradevi, Dodamarg, Satarda, Aronda and Redi check posts. Those with high temperature are not allowed to cross the border. Maharashtra govt’s new SOP for travelers entering the state from Goa and 4 other states has become effective from today. Earlier, Maharashtra govt has announced that all passengers coming into Maharashtra from five states including Goa will have to carry Covid negative certificate or do RT-PCR or antigen test on entry.
