Digital Goa, Nov 24- Covid Pandemic situation in Goa is under control and Goa does not need stringent SOPs like those imposed by Maharashtra at present opined CM Pramod Sawant today. “Our focus is on Thermal screening, social distancing , mask and other measures,” Sawant added. Action will be taken on parties and clubs in coastal belts if they are found violating thermal screening, social distance, masks and other norms, he warned. He was speaking to media persons after attending virtual meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM chaired the review meeting with chief ministers of various states over the COVID-19 situation. The meet also discussed about preliminary preparation by states for administration of Covid-19 vaccine which is likely to come by Jan 2021, said CM. “Strategy for distribution of vaccine was discussed. Cold chain system has to be maintained to store the vaccine. Two doses of vaccine will be administered within 4 weeks duration. Priority will be given for health workers and frontline warriors, senior citizens and those with co-morbidities,” he informed. It is not decided if the vaccine would be paid or free, he added.
