Tawadkar sentenced to stay in court till court rising in 2017 assault case

Digital Goa, Oct 28 – BJP vice president Ramesh Tawadkar has been sentenced to stay in court till court rising in the 2017 Puno Velip assault case. The court has also given a stay on its order for one month to allow challenging of the order in session court. JMFC had convicted former minister and current BJP vice president Ramesh Tawadkar in an assault case registered against him in 2017. The point of the sentence was pronounced today. Puno Velip had alleged that the then minister Tawadkar had waylaid him and his friend and threatened to kill him.
