Seven new project receive IPB nod

Digital Goa, Oct 26- Seven new projects have been given approval in the Goa Investment Promotion & Facilitation Board(IPB) meeting held today informed CM Pramod Sawant. Goa govt is in the process of amending the IPB rules to fast track projects under IPB. The new amendments aim at facilitating the process of taking various departments such as IDC , TCP etc on board and ensure that projects don’t get stuck up at different levels.
Goa government will emphasize on bringing in industries which can generate employment and increase GST revenue, said Industries Minister Vishwajeet Rane. He also informed that the board will meet once in 22-days to review and fast track projects. “Working of IDC and IPB need to be synchronized,” he added. He also informed that IDC board reconstitution notification will be issued today.
