Collector orders closure of railway tracks at Guirdoli, Chandor and Davorlim for 5 hrs for gate extension works

Digital Goa, Oct 27 – South Goa District Collector has issued order for temporary closure of railway track level crossing at 3 different locations for ‘extending of gates’ – Nessai in St Jose De Areal on October 28 , at Guirdolim junction & Chandor junction on November 2 and from Ravonfond to Davorlim on November 9. All the track closures will be for 5 hours from midnight to 5 am in the morning. “Some railway work is going on, so closure for 5-6 hours in required. Railway requested for closure. It was examined and permission was granted,” informed South Goa Collector Ajit Roy.
