Digital Goa, Oct 29 – Anjuna police today arrested 26-year-old Prathamesh Naik for allegedly raping a 22-year-old woman by barging into her house in the wee hours on Wednesday while her husband was away on duty. Police informed that Prathamesh entered into the woman’s house at around 1 am on Wednesday while she was sleeping along with her two children and sexually assaulted her by threating to kill her and her kids. The victim woman’s husband is a caretaker at a property at Assagao. On the night of the incident he had gone as at another property owned by their house owner at Arpora, as replacement for a security guard who had taken leave.
