Chairman Glen Ticlo blames interference from govt for IDC’s poor performance

Digital Goa, Sept 25 – Chairman of Goa Industrial Development Corporation(IDC) Glen Ticlo has blamed the “interference” from the government in the functioning of IDC for the poor performance of the Corporation. “There is too much of interference from the government. I am not getting that space and free hand to run the corporation. There are lot of hurdles”, he said. He further said that the files are not cleared immediately by the government. “If CM or Industries minister wants, they can get another chairman. I have no issues with that”, he said. IDC is functioning with half of sanctioned staff strength. Many employees are retired but that the vacancies are not filled, he added.
