Digital Goa, Aug 28 – Goa government today issued an order directing that not more than 50% strength of the state Secretariat employees shall attend the office on a particular day and the remaining employees shall work from home on alternate day basis. The decision has been taken on account of the increase in COVID-19 cases at the Secretariat Departments/Offices states the order. The order shall be applicable with effect from 31/08/2020 and will remain in force upto 11/09/2020. Secretariat employees had protested last week raising concerns over the rising number of cases at the secretariat premises.
