Digital Goa, Aug 29 – Public Works Department, Fatorda, Margao has ordered for extension of period of night closure of NH stretch from Santrant Slope to Cortalim junction from 11 pm to 5 am for all vehicular traffic in the section for allowing the work Wing Segment launching of elevated corridor awarded to DBL-MBZ (JV) for Package-III of Zuari Bridge from September 01, 2020 to December 12, 2020.The Highway traffic shall be diverted from Verna Titan junction on NH-17 and NH-17 B-MES College, Zuari Nagar junction-Airport junction, Dabolim-Chicalim junction (NH 17 A)-Cortalim junction (NH 17 and NH 17 A) and vice versa for Highway traffic in both directions. Spine/Wing Segment transportation from casting yard to site location will be permitted in non peak hours during day time too – Non peak hours timing will be from 10 pm to 12 noon and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm stated the PWD release.
