Scrap Fee Structure panel report 2020, keep hike in school fees on hold: Unaided Schools Parents Association urges Education Dept

Digital Goa, July 31 – The All Goa Unaided Schools Parents Association (AGUSPA) called upon the Directorate of Education to keep on hold any hike in school fee structure of unaided schools across Goa. AGUSPA also demanded that the Fee Structure Committee report 2020 be scrapped and a new committee with authorised representatives of the association be constituted. Stating that the report was prepared by the Fee Structure Committee formed in 2019, AGUSPA executive committee members alleged that they were misrepresented during the formation of the committee in 2019. The body also urged CM Sawant to intervene in the matters stating that if this report is implemented it will be a big injustice to the students studying in unaided schools across the state and taking advantage of this report management of schools will start harassing parents by hiking fees and creating other issues.
