Digital Goa, July 28 : Goa board recorded 92.69 percent results in the SSC exams held in May this year, with girls outshining boys yet again. The passing percentage of girls was 93.27 % while boys passing percentage was 92.08 %.Total 18,939 students answered the exams. Of the 17,554 students who passed the exam 8,973 are girls (9,620 answered the exam) and 8,581 are boys (9,319 answered the exam). Total 118 schools – 83 aided and 35 govt schools scored 100 percent results. The exams which were scheduled to be held in the first week of April were delayed due to Covid Pandemic and were finally held from May 21 to June 6. The exams were conducted in 29 centers and 173 subcenters . 4 of the subcenters were in Maharashtra and 2 in Karnataka. SSC Supplementary exams are likely to be held in September this year based on Pandemic condition. Students who could not answer the exam as they were stranded outside the state due to lockdown, will also be allowed to answer the exams in September
