Digital Goa, July 27 : 11,067 Goans including 7,939 seafarers and 3,128 non-seafarers were repatriated till July 22,2020 to Goa the house was informed today. Of these 1,246 persons landed at Goa Airport by 9 Vande Bharat Mission Flights from various countries like UAE, Oman, Kuwait, UK etc. 6,667 persons landed at Goa Airport by 35 chartered flights from various countries like Italy, UAE, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Brazil, UK, Philipines, Mongolia, Netherlands, Germany, Barbados, Kuwait, Oman, Cayman Islands, Saudi Arabia etc. Total 1925 Seafarers disembarked at Mormugao Port from 2 Cruise Ships which arrived from Greece and Italy. “However in total 7939 Seafarers entered Goa which figure includes those who entered Goa through indirect route including land route via other parts of India,” stated a written reply by CM Pramod Sawant to a starred LAQ tabled by Goa Forward leader Vijai Sardesai.
