Digital Goa, June 29: 53 people tested positive for the dreaded Corona virus infection today while 46 people were declared recovered taking the total count of confirmed Covid cases in the state to 1,251. Three deaths have been reported in the state so far at Morlem , Khariwada, Vasco and Fatorda respectively. 4 patients are put under Hospital isolation presently. 409 people are placed under facility quarantine at several residencies and hotels across Goa.
Breakup of 724 active positive cases is as follows: People who have come to Goa by rail, road and flight (104), Mangor Hill ( 260) , Linked to Mangor Hill (222), Lotoulim(11 cases), Margao (17 cases) , Quepem ( 10) , Curtorim ( 28 cases), Porvorim ( 1 ), Navelim (6), Indiranagar, Chimbel (5), cases linked to Ambelim ( 16 ), Sakhali ( 24), Vaddem (1 case), Sal Bicholim(3), Ganganagar Mapusa (6 cases) , Kundaim ( 1 ) , Canacona (6), Nachinola(1), Vaddem(1), Pilar (1 ), Vaddem, Vasco(1), Verna(1 )
Major locations across Goa which have seen increase in number of cases include – Sada (62 ), New Vaddem ( 29 ), Morlem (22 ) , Baina (41 ), Chimbel ( 27 ), Curtorim (31 ), Zuarinagar (24 )
