Rainfall activity to pick up from Sunday: Met department

Rainfall is expected to pick up from Sunday owing to the strengthening of the southwest monsoon. The India meteorological department (IMD) has attributed this to a circulation expected to form over the Andhra coast. Along with that, the pressure gradient lying over the Arabian Sea is expected strengthen from Saturday.
