Digital Goa, June 26 : The number of total positive cases in the state today crossed 1,000 mark. 44 new Covid positive cases were detected today in different parts of Goa. With 35 patients recovering from the infection, total active positive cases in the state have touched 667 and overall count of cases reached 1039. Meanwhile, two more councillors and a staff of Mormugao Municipal Council were tested positive. Two Councillors including chairperson had tested positive to Covid 19 yesterday. The report of a security guard on duty outside Goa Medical College, Bambolim also came positive today.
